[QUOTE="davidsworld3"]...the ai really hasn't changed that drastically...Frag_Maniac

Actually that's one of the things some that feel it's too hard are struggling with. The AI are quite a bit more aggressive, work together, and flank you. They will even bob their heads around when shooting at them in bullet time. The AI also aren't scripted to do the exact same thing every time when they react to the player. AI is one of the areas they changed the game the most from the first two, other than the look, story and adding a cover system.

I love how the enemy "flushes you out". Because in real life the enemy will run suicide bomber face first into you with the rest of his team behind him, as if he has nothing to lose either. On a side note if terrorist suicide bombers with guns can also juke and dodge like they are muhammed ali when you attempt to aim at them and they are shooting you at the same time with deadly precision, then holy **** may I we would have lost the war, yet alone the entire world to them by now.

Totally agree, the presentation of the story is absolutely breath taking and fun to watch at every scene, however it just boils down to a typical generic die hard copy and paste story, with no deep definition, and a **** load of brazillians talking in a very raging manner. At least max payne 1 tried deeply to use metaphors pertaining to norse mythology. The only metaphor in this game is that max payne has become a angry 1 dimensional american ex cop, with nothing to lose. And I loved being able to dive in the other max paynes, in this one diving in close quarter is sheer suicide, because majority of the time you either fall into the water and die or fall 10 feet to the other level, and gasp also die. The realistic addition of canceling slow mo because you bump into walls, is quite counterproductive to the the rest of the game. Payne take take a desert eagle straight to the head in 2 and live, and can take a .50 caliber to the arm and only get a tiny bullet hole, instead of having his arm blown off. Also I love how the enemy "flushes you out".

They wanted to add realism, as thats what rock star is all about now a days. It's why max payne 3 is inferior to the prior 2 in gameplay, because realism does not make a game more "solid" as retards like to call it now a days. Just like how gta IV is tremendously inferior to San andreas in single player gameplay wise as well. But they are a **** ton prettier, so can't really go wrong with that.
