I'm kind of in the opposite camp on this one, Mark. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with a side scrolling platformer (including Rayman Legends), and it's precisely because of the slower pace. Instead of zipping through levels and making decisions on the fly, Tropical Freeze requires focus and patience... It's what keeps the game challenging without crossing into the territory of frustrating and unfair.

@Rat_King @sweetpotatofry My bad, let me be as obvious as possible for you. I try to stay away from the sites with communities of people who see fit to whine about a professionally written review. Which is why I rarely come to Gamespot.
@Animal-Mother @sweetpotatofry When people are acting immature, it's not immature to call them out on it. I understand that you don't like to hear it, but there's a difference between disagreeing with a reviewer's opinion and getting upset about it. Time for you all to reevaluate your lives.
Ever notice that people never complain about movie or book reviews, but fans treat game reviews with almost as much scrutiny as the games themselves? You're all a bunch of children. If you ever feel genuinely bothered by the score or rating that a site gives a particular game, you're a loser of epic proportions.
I really have to wait until I play the game for myself, but I'll be surprised if I find it misogynistic. In a series that seems to make fun of all of its characters, you can't get offended for one gender more than the other.
