Hello,

I'm looking for a solution to a problem that's been happening recently (started maybe a week ago) with my Razer Copperhead Mouse. For some odd reason, mid game it will tend to freeze. The pointer will be in the middle of the screen and the mouse will not respond. If I try to unplug it, then replug it, subsequently the keyboard will stop functioning, then the entire computer will lock up, forcing me to restart. I'm lead to believe it's only happening with this mouse because the same issues happened last night, I left the Razer plugged in, but then plugged in a simple mouse that doesn't require fancy drivers or has onboard features (such as on-the-fly DPI settings) and although the razer was still not functioning, I was able to use the simpler mouse.

I've checked for virus', there were none.

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and updated my drivers, this did not work.

I've used Registry Mechanic and Ccleaner to find and repair problems in the registry. No change in things.

I did a google search for solutions and all I could find were either cases of people such as myself asking for a solution, or people saying "I have this problem too." Any input gladly welcome.

When you sit down at any computer and you're hand goes straight to the W, A, S, D keys...

When you have so many games that you are still catching up on games made in 2001...

This is obviously a matter of personal preference (considering the enormous volume of "my game is better" comments) so it really comes down to what kind of game you want. This is like comparing apples and oranges, they're two different things. Do you want a science fiction setting or a more realistic approach? Linear or open-ended? gritty or lost-paradise atmosphere?

My take is that everything will one day be on flash drives instead of CD's (/DVD's/Bluray...). Think about it, they're small, large memory capacity, no moving parts (so no wirring noise) and everyone nowadays has at least 2-3 USB ports.

0o0o, I'm going to stick with HL2, but Freedom Fighters, SC:Chaos Theory and TES IV are runner-ups.

I'm going to go ahead and recommend the first Black&White, Freedom Fighters, and total annihilation (the installation itself for the latter is somethin like 32mb)
