[QUOTE="DaveGamer_05"]Letters create words, numbers just create bigger numbers.Franklinstein

Yeah, but a name is more than a word. A name is a series of letters that becomes that person's identity. Numbers could do the same.

I think only having names as numbers but keeping the rest of our language as letters would have a seriously adverse effect on our personalities.

Just because there are 26 characters in the English language and only 10 in the mathematical language doesn't mean that the mathematical language could be just as expressive, and personal.Franklinstein

Yes in a different world. But there is no potential for this in the world we live in.

Numbers represent math, letters represent a language.

That's the difference.

Well unlike the alphabet, in most languages with the exception binary and morse etc. These letters can also have an emotional effect on someone when put together. You'll often find this in books :)

While for their general everyday purpose, numbers are impersonal, logical and well, boring!

Pans Labyrinth 11/10

Thats right, I saw it twice this year. And I liked it more the second time.

it's still potentially an awesome movie, Classics such as Dodgeball and Anchorman are around 6/10 on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes score for The Beach is at 19% which means less than one fifth of all reviews are positive.
