Liberation hasn't been Vita exclusive for over 4 years now. Came out for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 back in 2014. But that could do with a remaster anyway. The "HD" port still looked like ass.
What I don't get about this is why are they remastering AC3 instead of older games like AC or AC2 that are very dated by today's standards and could actually benefit from a remaster, unlike AC3 which is still decent enough.
None of this matters anymore. When the franchise started off, this overarching narrative is what kept me coming back. But that has become a clusterfuck since Ubisoft got rid of the franchise's creators and turned it into their yearly cash cow.
@esqueejy: The article is clearly pointing out one of their most renowned roles each, rather than every notable role they've done. And not much can beat Boromir in Sean Bean's case.
@criticofcritics: It's true that DirectX 12 will utilize multicore processors properly in making draw calls from the CPU to the GPU. But that's not all that games use the CPU for. The statement "Until now, games used up to the first 2 cores to run" implies games did not use more than two cores, which is incorrect. There were games that were completely unplayable on processors without four processor threads, like Witcher 3 post 1.07 update for example, and many games that performed very poorly on dual core processors like the recent Assassin Creed games.
