[QUOTE="aieri"]anyone got his xbl gamertag so u can ask the man in person what happened?JustPlainLucas

Unless I'm mistaken, wasn't it just GameSpot? Unless that XBL account belonged to CNET, then unfortunately it would probably be shut down by now.

It was Gamespotting. Its in his profile.

This is just ridiculous. Checking GameSpot and finding this is... just horrible. Jeff was an excellent reviewer.

Yep, I had the same problem too.

I got a bit scared, worrying that my Xbox was malfunctioning, but when I looked at Xbox.com, I knew it just wasn't me. Now this gave me the confirmination that Xbox Live IS having problems.

Well, thanks anyways. However, do you feel your hard drive has slowed down slightly in its processes or not? Just wondering.

Note: I have ejected and put the hard drive back... hopefully that will help.

I don't think clearing this "cache" won't work... I don't why, but it seems sort of... strange. I've never seen anything like that. Did you get a message or anything?

Anyways, thanks for the advice. I'll check later if there is any.

I've been having a strange problem...

Right after the update, I put MLB 2K7 in the disk drive. Working fine. But after I press start (when the select storage device should trigger and appear), it didn't, and the console froze (with the music still playing).

I restart the console, and play MLB 2K7 again. All goes well, but I noticed that the hard drive loading got a bit slower. It used to be pretty fast, but instead, it was slow. I remember it was faster before the update.

The reason I ask this is because after I finished one 9-inning game, when I pressed "end game," it freezes again. It is supposed to trigger the "saving profile" for MLB 2K7.

Now I restarted my console yet again, and played another game (although i simulated it close to the ninth inning) and when I finished the game, I did the same thing, and it worked fine.

However, I am overly concerned with the hard drive slowing down, causing problems in the games. Has anybody experienced this problem yet? The game froze most likely due to it trying to access the hard drive. Note I was signed on to XBOX live... I will try going offline later but probably tommorow.

For the people who actually managed to get in... MyGamerCard.net is a way to track it:

Well, that's a sigh of relief at least for now.
