I don't see why everybody hates the PSN or bashes it. Seems fine too me, even more so since its free. I gamed on Xbox Live for the last 4 years but have stopped a little while ago because of the money and PSN grew on me.

I have the Jungle Green too. Got it because it looks exaclty like the gunmetal MGS 4 controller that was with the special edition console.

I also have a black that came with the system.

I bought a second hand 60gb and to my delight it came with a blue DS3. I wanted one for ages but couldn't justify buying ANOTHER controller for a new color. Very happy.

They are all great, I can't really chose them apart.

okay, so my 60gb ps3 stopped reading ps3 games and blu rays. i was enquiring around about drive repair costs and something hit me.

my ps3 lies flat and i remembered when i was a kid playing playstation 1 with my dad and sometimes the games wouldnt work. if that happened he would put the console on its side and they worked, he said the console can read the games better at this angle.

i almost forgot the ps3 could be stood on its end so i tried that and it reads everything again in this position.

does anybody know what the heck this means? it cant be the drive going out because it still reads them fine in the upright position.

I tried putting it flat again and it still reads games, but for how long i have no idea.

a bit confused :S i dont have enough room to put an upright ps3 anywhere (especially the fatty) if it decided to be picky with being flat.

A little better than DS? What are some of you guys smoking. They are almost Gamecube graphics. Definitely Dreamcasts at least. By the time this system is in its prime, they will be Gamecube graphics or better.

While its not a deal breaker for me, It is a bit annoying personally. It has the same battery life of the PSP Go which also has bad battery life. The difference is the cradle really helps with the 3DS, just slap it on when not using it. I always leave the cradle plugged in for that reason. While with the PSP Go, I have to fish out a cable from my draw and small power brick and find somewhere to plug it in.

graphics are crisp if a bit anachronistic, I have not encountered any bugs yet but I have spent much more time playing SSF4. camera is passable, and I have yet to encounter any game breaking slowdown or frame dropping. The intro video is probably the poorest example of 3d on the 3ds that i have seen, and suffers from image ghosting, but that goes away once you are really in the game.ganjalo

I've never played Rayman 2. I also really want a platformer to play on the 3DS when I pick it up tomorrow. Is Rayman 3D worth it for these reasons, even if it is buggy and getting terrible reviews? Appreciate any advice!

I really enjoyed the first Killzone. The narrative, the ability to be 3 people with different styles and the graphics and gameplay were just awesome. I really dig the Helghast style. I also feel a little sorry for them. They make it seem like the ISA really put them through some hardships in the past. So why are they the enemy? Besides the red glowing eye masks may automatically make them evil lol.

I was kind of let down by Killzone 2. Its not broken, I just didn't enjoy it. I don't really know why. Maybe it was the overly macho attitude and Rico's outbursts. They wern't as common or annoying in Killzone 1.

I've been playing Killzone 3 for about 4 hours now and I love it. I love the extra narrative letting us peek into who the Helghast are is great and I love Malcolm McDowells character. I don't see why reviewers are scorning this aspect. It doesn't seem that horrible to me. I also like how the varying game play is back. The jungle stealth bits were great and its awesome to have diversity back rather than all grey buildings. Hell, we even get to see women and children (well in statue form) Helghast. But I find it odd that they have normal pink skin while the rest of them have very pale white skin. I thought that was how all Helgasts appearances.

I'm a bit confused as to why this game is only 720p though, when its meant to be the powerhouse PS3 game. I suppose its to keep the frame rate up to 60?

Hows everyone else liking it/ thoughts on past vs present versions or any other tid bits?

I asume with any electonics I import, I'm going to need to use a power transformer 110/240 to charge it. thats why im just paying a bit extra and getting it here for the convenience.

My preordered one at Big W comes with a case and screen protectors so I'm all set.
