Launch PS3 60GB here. Have the box/ reciept and all. I got a slim but I use it occasionally. I have another but it gets really hot and louder fan, will probably sell it while its working.

If only the AUS PS3 60GB was hardware backwards compatible!!!!!!!!!!!

We payed more ($1000, $400 more than the Americans) and got less! The software compatibility sucks! All the games I play are buggy. R&C Gladiator (Deadlocked) has huge frame rate issues, Persona 4 corrupts saves and doesn't display location in bottom corner and in Silent Hill 2 James's left leg disappears when he is idle!

I bought the PAL AU version because I didn't want to wait for it to get shipped.

I have two accounts for PSN AU and US.

The DLC for LA Noire costs $5 more than USA for no reason.

If I get a Rockstar Pass from US PSN will it work with my PAL game? Thanks.

I finished it on my Slim so I have no idea. From what I've been hearing, I shoudln't put it in my 60GB. Never know if you don't try it though. Just run it for a while and if you feel the temp go up, or the fan go ape s*** quit the game and turn it off.

I'm not happy with the name change for our PAL regions.

The US versions title and pictures like a nice official Sony product.

Our dark brown picture and huge "Special Forces" under a tiny SOCOM title makes it look like a cheap military shooter.

I bet it will get less sales here because of it.

PS2 was great for this reason and the PS3 60GB was awesome for this reason because its was freaking 3 in 1! My 60GB died and now I have a slim and PS2 sitting hooked up under there... ugh. I'll be annoyed if they don't with PS4, but not surprised.
