I got into FF in about 2002 when i saw my cousin playing FFX...and it looked so cool...so i picked up myself a copy and ive been a fan ever since...FFX is one of my favorite games now.
I could never figure this out - are Final Fantasy V and VI the same as some of the earlier games or something? (I've never played the games for the NES or SNES) I think i heard that some of them are the same game and go by different names, and other things like that. And why did they go straight to VII??? I'm confused.
I reccomend getting Final Fantasy VII, X, and VII. I just started playing IX, and i like it so far. If your looking for a good handheld game, my personal favorites are IV and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Consider getting XII when it is released also. That game looks AMAZING!
