Google "the paragraph"

sonicare

What, do you want me to edit my post and separate it into paragraphs for you? Or are you just trying to be funny?

I'm just saying that its easier to scan through several paragraphs then "the wall of text".

Yeah, I said I fixed it, but for some reason it won't indent. I don't know, whatever.

Yeah, I think you'll be covered for about 2 years. I wouldn't much worry about it. Plus, I traded in my old DS for the DS Lite when it came out. If they ever do release a revision, you'll probably find a trade-in program at EB or something since the DS is still red hot.

If you like the games then it shouldn't matter much. The system busting is the risk you take when you buy any of these.

That's the risks, live with it. If you don't want to take that risk then don't buy it to begin with. And it isn't a huge revelation that the 360 hardware isn't the best made ever...but neither was the PS2 and it was successful. If you want reliability buy a gaming PC.

Yeah, and another thing is that I bought all this stuff for it, too. Three controllers, games, wireless adapter, 2 charge kits, and yeah. So I guess the real question is, should I wait for Zephyr (Xbox 360 v2) or just go pick up another one of the existing ones?

If Zephyr is real and is actually being released then i'd say wait. Unless of course it doesn't come out until late 2007...i'm not sure then. It would be up to you. You'd miss Mass Effect and a few others that look pretty good if you waited that long.

Yeah, cause my HDTV can take HDMI so I don't know. I've been waiting for Guitar Hero II forever, too. I was thinking about pre-ordering it until this happened.

The game becomes progressively more complicated, but at each stage you are introduced to a few more elements, so you can assimilate the details at a reasonable pace. Though the gameplay can become challenging, the learning curve is anything but steep. bowling-name
Exactly.

I've recently been playing tons of strategy games online and I was thinking of getting AW on Thursday (when I get my DS:D) I went to check out some videos and I found myself realizing that I had NO idea what the hell was going on. So my question is, is the game easy to learn?KJAX90

Oh, and what kind of strategy games do you play, by the way?

[QUOTE="soadnick947"][QUOTE="asmallchild"][QUOTE="soadnick947"]I used to love Xbox 360 until I realized what a pice of **** it is. When I bought my first (in July of last year, I believe) I was trying to get it online (within one hour of opening the box, no less) and then all of the sudden a black screen pops up with the ring of death on it. So, I call MS support and after an hour of being transferred to the next rep over and over again it was finally resolved that the hard drive disk crapped out. I mean, what the ****. But whatever, they told me to take it back to the retailer and get it replaced. So whatever, I got it replaced and all and it's been working fine since. Well, since recently. About a week ago my 360 started acting funny. I would be playing Burnout and the game would freeze. I know that games will rarely do this so I just rebooted the system and played it again. Another 30 mins. goes by, and guess what? Another f***ing black screen. And no, I patched the game and have the latest firmware. So whatever, I just let it be. So I go to play Gears of War a couple days later and the screen goes: green, blue, red and then reverts back to green and stays there. So I'm like, Okay, it can't be the game, it's something internal. Heh, so I go to restart the frickin' system yet again and... nothing. Absolutely nothing. Just black. So I go to www.xbox.com and look up "BLACK SCREEN". So, on their support note for troubleshooting it says that the video cable is faulty. So.... I call MS support again and am on the waiting line for about a half hour and this Indian chick (or maybe it was a dude, who knows...) answers and I tell her all the story and yadda, yadda, yadda. So they send me a replacement cable. Takes about a week... I plug it in and same stupid thing. Black screen. No ring of death, no nothin'. I hardly moved the stupid thing. It's at room temp. I don't understand. I took the darn thing back to Costco and they refunded all my money back. But, it's rediculous. I look up "my xbox 360 broke" on Google and I read all these nightmare-ish stories about defective units. Now, I don't know what to do with my money. I kinda don't wanna buy another 360 because I'm sure I'll get screwed again in about a year from now and THEN I'll have to pay for it to get fixed by MS. I read about the leaked version of Xbox 360, and I think I'll probably just wait for that... Maybe then they'll get their **** together by then. Or maybe I should take my money elsewhere? I have no idea. I ain't in no way a fanboy, just a pissed off consumer. I owned all 3 of the companies products (PS1, GC, Xbox, yadda, yadda). I don't know how do you all feel about this? Care to share any customer support nightmares/console defects of your own?

its weird that when something happens to someones 360, its always like 3 or 4 times for the same person. i guess thats just what i read about but it seems kind of strange, i've not had 1 problem, and mine never even freezes up. (i dont own oblivion, maybe thats it)whoisryanmack
I must just have bad luck or something because I barely moved the thing and didn't mod or anything... Grr...
