Unfortunately it looks so.. I don't wont to go into any conspiracy theories but I just feel strange about some reviews to say the least. For example, games such as the last installment of Grand Theft Auto for PC, Bioshock or Stranglehold(and many more) get way too overrated in my opinion. Other games however that deserve some fame are left in the shadow. And my 15 yrs of gaming experience leaves me no doubt. maybe they are just trying to keep the market in balance..it's a huge market after all..
I would rather read more reviews and rely on my gamer's instincts. You can always look at the screenshots on the web and read opinions of the people that experienced it. Graphics in the screenshots of Godfatger2 really look dated I must say. So is everything else I think. Nowadays everything is about eye candy. And if they can't deliver even that.. My personal thought would be that they just hadn't the money to finish the project.. I think we should stick with older games released before the economic crysis.. such as crysis:)
