AC:B would the the first priority. secondly, a game like fallout is also a must own, not rent. too much content for one playthrough. those two should give me plenty to play with until next quarter

[QUOTE="Chickan_117"]

@Archangel3371 - Wow, you actually paid for one of those Gears3 T-shirts eh? I reckon they shoulda given them away for free (maybe as an award for finishing GoW2 ;) ). Off topic I know but why do you want to save Carmine? I love the way he dies in each game. In the third they just need to give him an orange parker and muffle his speech and we're set :D

Archangel3371

Well the t-shirt only cost 80 MS points which is $1 real money and plus all proceeds go to charity. I'd like to see this Carmine live because the previous 2 have died so killing off this one is too obvious plus I'd like to see this one portrayed as more of the tough hero kind as well, for a change of pace.

I think they're planing on making him hardcore anyway. From the photos i've seen and the talk about him being "the big brother"

well, i wouldn't buy AC brotherhood for the multiplayer anyway, since i think, from what i've seen so far, that it feels a little stabled on. Hopefully the single player will be worth the buy. If not, Ubisoft will have ruined a great game series.

like yahtzee stated in his critic of the game, GTAIV, IMO, has lost what made the other GTA games good. It is just less fun. it went full out for a story, that i didn't find to extraordinary, and for realism, which just isn't the point of playing GTA, or any other sandbox game in the "gangster" genre. GTA had always been over the top crazy, shotting and jumping from helicopters, but now we have to go on dates with our fat male cousin, or another guy. Personally, that's not what im looking for in a sandbox game.

assassins creed 1&2, bioshock. some would say chronicles of riddick. also many find that the story for the gears series is decent. but theres a lot of back story there, placed in different novels.

what?? no one mentioned yahtzee yet? im going to do that.
although, he would probably hate being mentioned, since in his opinion, he's not a reviewer, but a game critic. Always fun to watch, and the fact that he points out even the smallest mistakes in a game, makes it easy to know whether you would like a game or not.

i often disagree with some of gamespots reviews. typically of the games that got a lot of hype. don't know why gamespot tends to favor these games and give them higher scores than deserved, while giving really got games lower scores than deserved(spore got WAY too high a score, while saints row 2 scored a little low IMO) but on the other hand, gamespot has pretty good previews, which is what i primarilly use i for.

Generally, metacritic is a good tool. also it helps you spot the review sites that just goes with the hype.
