Laura, Bioware should listen since this isn't a book or a movie. With games, dlc can be created to create an ending that the majority of us want. Look at what Bethesda did with Fallout 3. The ending's to Mass Effect 3 are awful and gave no real since of accomplishment to all the choices we made through 3 games. If a company just want's to upset their customers than they should just expect to lose many customers also known as money. They told us this was the end of Shepards story but they end it like they did and now what do we have to do? Wait a couple years for Mass Effect 4 just because they knew they could milk more money out of us. They need to fix this to save face because Bioware has just totally slapped the faces of the fans of Mass Effect and Dragon Age the past couple years and it's starting to leave a real sour taste. And what would be even worse is if they decide to go in the direction of an MMO for Mass Effect and carry on Sheppard's story with that.
When it comes to homosexuality in games, I'm fine with it except Dragon Age 2. I'm straight and it was beyond annoying how the main character kept getting hit on a certain guy to the point it made me sick. In real life if your straight and a gay guy hits on you your going to say your straight and ask to be treated as a straight male or your going to be violent and just get very angry. Your not going to keep letting the guy hit on you over and over for days and weeks like you have to deal with in DA2. I pray that they deal with this accordingly because if my Commander Sheppard is being hit on by guys frequently I'm going to have a problem and my Sheppard might gain a lot of Renegade points.
I'd keep my ears open for the last track on the CE album if stores didn't sell out of them months before release. Way to not make nearly enough Bioware.
Origins was so much better its not even comparible. And when ML says this story was so much better than we just beat the blight, good for us; Wrong. That story was so much better and the characters and quests made it so. With 2 being stuck in Kirkwall or copy and pasted caves for the whole game was not fun. And I personally did not like the characters nearly as much in 2 that I did in Origins. I missed the characters from Origins a lot. Its sickening how much ML and the rest of Bioware are sticking up for what they did with 2. All they did was improve the combat system and smooth the graphics, they took away a huge environment, great characters and much better relationships, and dumbed down the story. What I would say to ML is woopee I just beat *spoiler* Merdith and the first Chairmen after he used blood magic to transform and then got a cliffhanger ending. I was so looking forward to this game, I preordered months ahead of time to get the signature edition and was more let down than I was with Shenmue 2 and thats saying a lot. Think I'll trade my copy in while it still has some descent trade in value.
