It's going to take a miracle to steal GOTY from BOTW, but after seeing the Odyssey gameplay footage at E3 and Gamescom, I think it may have a shot, assuming the rest of the game is as polished, inventive, and full of secrets (I'm hoping there are a lot more kingdoms than Nintendo has revealed) as what they've shown so far. Also, 3D Mario games are a huge deal and tend to have universal acclaim, if not appeal as well. I think it will be a close one.
