The only legitimate downside to pc gaming I can think of is the lack of splitscreen multiplayer. 

The only game i'd be willing to spend $60 on is an F-Zero GX HD remake.. everything else, NO.

GTA4 - One of the things I loved about GTA SA ws the huge world/ wilderness to explore so going back to a smaller and mostly city style map really bummed me out. Without a doubt a fantastic game, it just wasn't everything I'd hoped for.

Nope, you're good to go. I guess you're talking about the season pass? That's for buying all the dlc ahead of release for slightly cheaper.

I buy retail becasue you can always find the game for cheaper than they charge on the eshop.
