Oh gag me. This is typical nerdrage, elitest crap. I'm 29 and remember well the days of Mega Man and Asteroids, games that defined tough. I, likewise, love Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, but those two games weren't as needlessly unforgiving as DIII hardcore.I'm sorry I have a life and a job and a wife that saps most of my time, but I'm not playing games 25 years after I first plugged in my NES to experience S&M and then feel like I "accomplished" something or like I'm a toughguy because I did. People like this guy are the elitests who give us old schoolers a bad name. Games have adpated to simpler methods of play because it's a wider form of entertainment now. Almost no girls/women or adults played games before the PS1 gen because it was just annoying to them. I play games for fun, enjoyment, and a good story a lot of the time. I want to be enveloped by the world, not bent over by it.

That doesn't change the fact that almost everything Gates has ever green-lighted has been rushed and fixed in service packs 1-7,999 or Window's 3.5.999(Vista is over two years old and still isn't anywhere near as smooth as XP was). Window's Me was an abomination and he got plenty of people to waste money on their first 2 xbox 360's just to finally get a working one after spending well over $600 for the whole ordeal. I love Bill Gates as much as the next guy, but its simply fact that Microsoft products are never ready for a clean release.

Apparently Gamespot still has no better story to look up than this age-old debate. They've done these studies like 3 or 4 times since the systems came otu and the result is always different based on which game was used at the time. The recent sales figures say what needs to be said for either system, so don't dredge up this bullcrap when you could be updating us on somethign more important, like what color tie Bush Jr. plans to wear the day he is booted from the oval office.
