This generation has plateau'd ever since Uncharted 2.
When games like MGS4, Halo3 , and uncharted 2 were being released I was definately hyped. Those games pushed the medium, but now everything else feels like "been there done that".
Next gen please
[QUOTE="princeofshapeir"]I thought the game was really amazing at first, but once you hit a high enough level and get the best armor and weapons in the game (which isn't hard at all to do, I had full Daedric at level 25, many other people have gotten it earlier), you find the content isn't compelling enough to keep you going. It's a great game and I feel I got my money's worth out of it but I feel very disappointed after hyping it so high up till launch. Nothing you do in the world has any impact; NPCs will call you a milk-drinker regardless of the fact you just killed Alduin. It's all very pointless and the game is essentially a single-player MMORPG.
exactly.
If Israel attacks Iran, well then make sure your gas tank is filled. might help to have some extra containers laying around
I picked up the game a few weeks ago. At first i couldn't get enough of it. Really sucked me in at first at the sheer immensity of the world. Problem is, is that it got old fast.
After 10-15 hours you've basically seen most of what the game has to offer. Repetitve quests, dungeons, enemies, and combat. Boring setpieces (Battle for Whiterun in the civil war questline, what a snooze fest). Fast travel destroys the adventuring, trade skills were way to easy to level up, and the main storyline just wasn't all that interesting. It's just the same thing over and over.
How people spend 300 hours with this is beyond me. Please, do something else with your time.
I loved all the MGS titles but MGS4 still feels a little clunky to me. They need to work on the cover system and add some more realism imo
Laughing Octopus was a great fight. So was Rex vs Ray, and ocelot. Personally I found the MGS3 boss fights pretty underwhelming, except The Boss of courseThe end >>>>> every other boss fight.
And to be fair MGS4's bossfights are lackluster because they had such high expectations to meet. What can top Psycho Mantis and The End?

As much as I love MGS...i'd rather see Kojima do something else. New generation is a great time to take on something new
[QUOTE="Chutebox"][QUOTE="slamminjammin69"]Game of thrones is just the first book. The series is called a song if fire and ice...or something like that. Im currently on the second book and i love it. I think that's the series title at least...(cant edit on phone). ditto, A song of Ice and FireAre the 4 Game of Thrones books any good to read? Just wondering since I saw all 4 of them at Shopko

I actually just picked up the first one over a week ago after watching the HBO series. So far, pretty good. They're long books with lots of details but gripping and action packed. I'd say go for it if you like fantasy
