In all honesty, I was hoping for the next CoD game to be great like Black Ops 2, following my hype from MW2. How let down I was when I discovered this steaming pile of shovelware - Ghosts.

Let's start off with the campaign, shall we? "Kill bad guys, save 'murica, 'OMG PLOT-TWIST ENDING'" and that's generally the concept. Rorke, I do have to admit, does add some immersion as he was once - spoilers - a Ghost like you before he turned batshit insane and his mind was "corrupted" by the Federation's, what I like to name it - "mindf*ck" technique - end spoilers. Also - Fish AI is apparently next-gen, who knew.

Gods above, the abysmal mess of multiplayer. Yeah, you can get a lot more custom classes, but it's still the same. CoD BO2, in my opinion, added in some sort of teamwork, but then that was just me. Ghosts? You're back into the lone wolf seat in which it's generally every man for himself in TEAM Deathmatch. Weapons are unbalanced, equipment is generically overpowered and

Extinction? In a few words, it's a complete ripoff of Zombies with aliens thrown into the mix. With the recent DLCs coming out, I'm still not impressed but not as cringe-worthy upon the game's release. However, it's still bad and Infinity Ward won't listen to the fan's cries for change. We're getting Advanced Warfarce coming out and, I'll be cold dead honest - it's Titanfall with CoD's name on. The guy from House of Cards is just there for fanservice to drag more players into their community.

At the end of the day, the guys behind Ghosts wanted to make something "revolutionary" - instead, they made this piece of shovelware. And before you go "omg ur opinin sux gtfo internet" - I did order a copy and gave it full analysis. The glorious role of a critic!

At best, this game deserves a 0, but Ghosts does have a FEW good points - not many, at most. ONE plot twist and a few more points I've probably forgotten. With this in mind, I give it a 2.1.

As of late, I've played BF4 a ton nowadays. The bugs? Gone. Singleplayer, I admit, is a bit sloppy but the multiplayer makes up for it so much. Complete rewrite of the Frostbite 2 engine with FB3 - it's titanically better. The campaign, however, does give you three choices. In multiplayer, it's also nice to see a lot more customization in 4.

I'll admit I'm a bit of a BF4 fanboy and hate CoD with a passion, but honestly? This game focuses on teamwork. Infantry-combat, vehicle combat and aerial combat. In CoD, you don't have that. You have quick-scopers who can defy all real-life military terminology such as "the Corealis Effect" (google helps if you don't know the term), but it's basically the wind-distance effecting the bullet's travel toward the target.

BF4 does many things right where CoD f*cks up drastically. I give this game a 8.9.
