@2tonjunk @zspiess @PernicioEnigma So there isn't anything to stop women from making games with female leads. We just haven't seen these games because people don't want to make them, even studios run by women.

@Daian I think it depends on the way the developers want the story to be told. They could cater to the audience by making your character the only person who is the hero, where everything you touch becomes an integral part of the story. It will all be about you and your character, a little bit selfish one could say. Or they could incorporate more main characters to explain their side of the story, each with individual roles and not everyone of them needs to be a hero. To me the second option would see a little bit more refreshing in a gaming industry where everything is all about me being the hero/savior/w.e.
