Unfortunately, no game has come close to the goodness that was X-COM. I just wish they would do a re-make of Terror From The Deep. That was awesome. All companies are worried about these days is whacking a 2 onto there titles and rehashing a game. There is nothing new in todays games, which is rather boring.

Well, this is true. If you only need to upgrade such things as CPU, MOBO and GPU. But if ya going the whole 9 yards and are doing Monitor, Speakers, soundcard etc etc. It will be more.
It's funny that you say you want a realistic game but something post-nuclear war (witch isn't vary realistic),so if you want a REALISTIC game then Red Alert 3,COD series...is the way to go.But if you want a game with realistic gameplay,graphics,itc.,but post-nuclear war you should get Fallout 3 (if your computer is good)or any other Fallout game.
