beta build eh? I wonder just how terribly its going to run : p

doanm
Runs about 50x smoother than Crysis Warhead. Looks about 2x better. That should give you an idea about performance/image quality.

Want crappy new PC games?

- GTAIV

- STALKER

- FEAR2

- Mercs2

- Battlestations Pacific

- CoD5

- Need For Speed Carbon, ProStreet and Undercover

- Velvet Assassin

- The new World in Conflict (For being extremely short and non-innovative)

All of these games came out in the past year or so. They all lacked quality, they were a mix of repeptiton, crappy ports and they were filled with nothingness.

Games that I enjoyed, played, still play and BOUGHT:

- Crysis and Crysis Warhead

- CoD4

- Left4Dead

- Assassin's Creed

- Burnout Paradise

- World In Conflict (The first one)

- GTAIV, I still bought it.

I don't know what kind of gamer you are, but if you think every single PC game that came out in the past 12 months is good, I think you need to travel back in time to like 2000 or 2001 when PC games were worth it.

I call utter BS on that one. Only reason Crysis 2 has become multiplatform is because of the **** economy that we live in that has forced everyone to become greedy, selfish and stupid at the same time. They are going to kill a legend by doing this. Yes, exclusivity is nice but quality control is whats important and it seems to me that both of those trends are vanishing away.

Crysis gameplay was ok, it wasn't bad but it was not spectacular. What gave the game its hype was its graphics, and if you're going to kill that, might as well kill the whole franchise. Consoles were not made for shooting games, I don't care who you are or what you say. Until a device that works or acts like a mouse is released for consoles, PC's will remain the best platform for shooters.

One of the saddest moments I've had was when the new Battlefield got released as an XBOX360 exclusive and not on a PC. A Game that was built, made and gained popularity as one of the biggest and best PC FPS Multiplayers in its time. That, makes me really sad and furious at the same time.

Another thing that makes me really sad is the crappy console ports. Starting with Mercenaries 2 down to GTAIV.

One last sad thing is when Remedy sold the IP rights to Rockstart games thus forever ending whatever quality control the Max Payne franchise had. Yeah, there is going to be a Max Payne III, but I'm not expecting any less disappointment than Mark Walburg's movie that sucked on epic proportions.

PC gaming aint dead yet, but it's taking a huge beating.

Yeah, I read somewhere it's exclusive to Russia, no publishers have decided to pick up the game for any other markets.

Seems odd, especially since the port is apparently done at this point (anyone know if the Russian retail version includes both Russian and English language options?) but perhaps the distribution costs involved outweigh the sales risk. Even then, perhaps they could do digital distribution only for other regions? But who knows what all the obstacles are.

Anyway, if someone really wants to play the game and it's an option, you should be able find it relatively cheap on the consoles. Not 100% sure I'd want to jump through hoops to buy the Russian version, but if it were easily available as a title on the PC otherwise, I could see myself being tempted enough to check it out ;)

I have the game in russian. There are instructions online on how to switch the voices to English. Just an easy RegHack nothing more. There are also minidvd's of the game out already. However, to warn you, the game uses StarForce which is filled with s***. I'm waiting for a StarForce patch because SF software is filled with bloatness that f**ks up your computer.
