what i feel is that in the 3rd world as u call it the prices need to be dropped at around 15-17$.ya well people who buy pirated games also want to taste original but cant afford it. dropping prices in such countries would drastically affect the sale by 70 - 80% so there u can overcome the loss due to reduction in prices and the gamers will also earn more. 90% of gamers in developing countries are buying pirated games because 1. their parents cant afford original 2. a pirated game works forever and can be distributed among friends so i request developers to see into the matter and drop the prices..forget anti piracy softwares , they are always gonna be hacked..
