sure Gears 2 DOES look remarkably better than the original, these redesigned maps are WAY too green. and Anya looks terrible in Gears 1. They made better models in the Jak games on the PS2.
with the GTA IV PC no anti-aliasing thing, what would happen if you forced it on through the NVIDIA control panel? i can do it for anything, even Google Earth.
The PC version are way more sharper and edges are smoother and everything just looks better. My PC is the only next/current gen thing i have atm so i'm happy. isn't there anti-aliasing on PS3 and 360 versions? everything just looks blockier.
@djmiranda15 sure games need great gameplay, but if all game developers had what you said in their minds, we would never get amazing games with amazing graphics, just amazing games with half-as*ed graphics.
i think video games can be art. if they evoke emotion, awe, are are simply beautiful, then its art. i don't know why interactivity makes games not an art. Ever heard of installation artworks?? you can actually go into them and look from whatever angle you want. One artist made an artwork which was just a pile of white lego bricks and encouraged people to make a city. They made bridges, parks, Houses, skyscrapers, buildings,skyrails etc. it was a never ending artwork. He kept moving it from gallery to gallery to keep it going.
PS3 has way better lighting effects and contrast which makes the game way more desirable. Especially on SoulCaliburIV, Dead Space and COD World At War.
i still think PS3 is better cos it has higher quality exclusives and it will surpass the 360 graphically within the next year as devs need more storage. still, PC is the best. only thing i use for FPS.
