To quote the video review (still reading the written one)
"There is still a drop of DMC lunacy"
why only a drop? I have a hard time understanding why this is called DMC the fans didn't want this and contrary to this article the writing is actually worse than the original games because they didn't take themselves seriously. the originals (2 never happened) went far into the realms of absurdity but it never took itself seriously, it was crazy because it wanted to be fun, stylish and absolutely CUH-RAZY.
I don't hate Ninja theory I don't hate the people who like this game or want to play it. but I do hate this game because its a bastardisation of a series I love and I can't say I hope it gets a squeal. but I do wish Ninja Theory good luck and prosperity in everything else they do as long as it's there own thing and not already established IP and they fire whoever did the writing for DmC.
I could go on about the combat but this is long enough and I'm pretty sure the comments section is sick of me, so instead I'll drop this link and never bother you guys again.
This game wasn't made by Capcom it was made by Ninja Theory, it has nothing to do with saving anything. Capcom chose a western dev because they wanted to appeal to the west over the Japan. I really wish I had the faith in Capcom to believe that they want to innovate or incite positive change but really I feel that a grab for money is their main motivation. Not to say seeking profit is a bad thing but when it takes priority over the quality of your product and the expectations of your fans then I think you've lost sight of what it takes to make good games and you become activision.
TL;DR
I write woo much, Capcom is shit which makes me sad coz it used to be good
This is what DMC fans are really complaining about.
the hair thing was an early complaint that got out of control before there was any real info about the game however since the release of the demo and more info, the arguments have defiantly evolved from
"BLACK HAIR IS THE DEVIL"
Though I must say I'm not a fan of the design DmC name or not, its clearly trying way to hard.
