Yeah I've had some RROD scare again. Happened earlier today after I used my PS3 for some odd reason. It was three rings then four. Tried fixing the AC adapter for 10 minutes..still didn't work. Then I decided to try the towel trick and it worked...not sure if it will happen again but yeah. Should I still be worried, since it could happen again?
Mine just had the RROD, three of them, and then they disappeared after I unplugged everything. It happened while playing Rock Band, as it froze, then RROD came out of nowhere...after I took the game out and cleaned it and retried playing the game again, it only froze, no RROD anymore. I retried one last time after like 30 minutes..played two songs on the drums without any freezes. Went through the menus and no other freezes or RROD. I'm just wondering if it will show up again? As of right now I'm just taking a break for the rest of the night without playing my 360. Hopefully, tomorrow nothing wrong will happen. I don't want to waste any money buying another 360...but this would be the only reason to buy an Elite or the rumored Ultimate.
If there is a 360 ver. it would be on two discs...and I doubt this rumor is true. Come on who posts news of this old rumor on New Years? The new year just started and Xbox Fanboys are resurrecting rumors. People just look at logic...and why does the PS3 option not have PSN? The creator of this topic is an idiot and obviously is an Xbox Fanboy.
Whenever I try looking at my friends list..or messages...the thing just freezes. I know for sure my Xbox 360 isn't broken...but I'm not sure what's going on. I see no sign of red rings, and my game plays fine when I don't try opening the guide to get a friend invite to COD4. Not sure what's going on. Is this happening to anyone else? *Note* Can't complain on Xbox.com as the site isn't allowing me too sign in...
