Gamespot's computers were acting up, so I remade this thread. The Wii's motion controller is great for games like Excite Truck and Metroid Prime 3. What else do people think?
santiagochile's forum posts
What do you think? I think its the motion controller, especially for driving and fps games. And you?
[QUOTE="riddyJ"]Why would that be terrible...?AlexSaysIt'd be stripped of everything that makes it great on other consoles. We're talking "dumbed-down port" times 100.
Ignore the previous poster. That would be great! I loved WAW, and I think they can make the next one better for Wii.santiagochileYeah that's awesome World at War had a Wii-specific team. Infinity Ward doesn't have a Wii specific team. It helps to know about the games we're talking about. Well, that's something that they are going to have to fix if they want to make MW2 for Wii.

[QUOTE="santiagochile"][QUOTE="wiifan001"]As we explore the depths of the wii forums, we find a topic out of its natural environment. Normally found in the regions of the System Wars, I doubt this particular speciment will last in its unlocked state.wiifan001Do you have anything useful to add? This is a great thread! Yes, yes it is a great thread. It's about Nintendo dominance. However, it's still in the wrong place unfortunately. If this were in the right place I'd be jumpin all over this thread telling off- no actually I would be laughing at- 360/PS3 fanboys while I'm rocking out to Slipknot. The thread is just fine where it is. No need to change anything about it.

Majoras Mask 2000, Wind Waker 2003, Twilight Princess 2006. It's 2009 and we have Nintendos new revealing policy, so...

It doesn't need to be 2009, specially because Spirit Tracks is on the way. But Zelda is in the works, and no Zelda designed for Wii is just a missed opportunity.
Yeah, there's a VERY BIG reason to wait. They can launch the next system and have a "new" Zelda ready for it, and still sell it on the Wii. That's why TP was delayed. They would make money and sell a lot of consoles right off the bat, like they did with they Wii. There is little reason for them to launch the Wii Zelda before then, since the Wii has already sold 50 million. There is no need for a game like Zelda to push console sales.santiagochile
The amount of facepalm here is high.
I think you are starting to see the truth. Nintendo is now working on a Zelda, that they will sell on both Wii and Wii 2. That way they have a killer app right away that will push the systems into millions of homes, helping get more third party support and more consoles in homes to make it easier to sell them other games later on. It may seem cheap on Nintendo's part, but it's actually quite a good business strategy.
