Just downloaded it via Steam for PC and playing it big picture mode 1080p on a 57". It looks fantastic and plays like a polished game. Not quite God of War but on par, if not better than, Dante's Inferno. If you like 3rd person top down button mashers (my favorites for whatever reason), then this is for you, and it's only $15 on top of that.

This game is dreadful....avoid it at all costs!

Another reason Van Ords reviews are ridiculous!

@MrKrupet - I have not, but have heard it's one of the better one's. my problem is I'm spoiled by next gen graphics and the times that I do pick up an older title on a recommendation, I'm quickly distracted by the next gen graphics in newer titles and never make my way back to the old one's...

I received my copy Friday, started playing yesterday at 4 pm and have had about 2 hours sleep since. This is the best RE to date. It captures the best aspects of 4 & 5, enhances the graphics, gives you 3 separate plots, and makes it so you don't have to keep reading a stupid walk through to make it through the game, which is important to a gamer like me with a job as an engineer where I don't have a bunch of time to spend hunting down ammo and special items for hours at a time. I'm done with Kevin VanOrd's reviews. I respect his opinions, but I don't think he realizes that there are older gamers (I'm 39) that don't want to be bothered with some of the things I found painfully cumbersome in RE 4 & 5. My suggestion to Gamespot is to have 2 reviews: 1 for the older gamer without a lot of time and 1 for the younger gamer that want's a bunch of mini-games, side quests and other meaningless content added to get more bang for their buck. Thank you CapCom! You've done it again! The girlfriend is most unhappy, but she'll get over it :P
