Yay! During the Extralife stream I asked everyone who played GTA to parachute onto a moving train and no one listened! Glad you did it, it was hilarious to watch :)
@moakie That can be solved by creating some sort of online dice roller that shows the result to everyone looking at the page, or something like that. Some probably made something like that. If not, making one yourself is not that hard.
EDIT: Here, I even found one for you. Don't know the gamespot rules about posting links so I won't, but if you google "rpg dice roller online multiplayer" it's the first result. You can open a "dice room" there, have your pals join and you can all see eachother's dice rolls. simple as that
@noirtenshin Honestly I don't expect video games to give me what tabletop games do. At least not in the near future. They're different things and that's ok.
@noirtenshin Lol! I've had moments like these. I've once played a human bard, gave myself very low interlligence, then played the part. He ended up dying on the first night of playing, after i became wanted in like 3 towns and tried to have sex with a female vampire, while trying to write a song about it as i went along. Was a freakin' hilarious. You just don't get to do that kind of freedom in video games.
