So listen, I'm only level 24 and I was super excited when I got the exotic weapon bounty for the hand cannon "Thorn". After doing a couple of time consuming bounties to obtain it I got to the last part. It's a level 26 version of the summoning pits, with an epic modifier. It's nearly impossible for me, especially considering there's no matchup system for this version. I have to put together my own fire team and sadly none of my friends play Destiny on ps3.
I have to make it to the boss room, but I don't actually have to kill Phogoth. I just have to kill enough minions and survive long enough for the enemy "Xyor, the Unwed" to appear and kill him. I'm just not stronh enough alone to even get to the boss room though.
Can anyone care to help me with this? (I play on PS3)
