I will say, not being a halo fan at all, that halo 3 is pretty awesome. The one thing that ticks me off though is that the human character models look like poop. They look worse then some models on the Wii. No joke. Play metroid. But good job bunjee, the environments are pretty rad. Oh, and GamSpot, its not 720P, its only 640P, check out bungees website, that's why the game has so many jaggies.

it is funny to me that many of the posts on here boast how expensive the PS3 will be, but i don't think any of you are taking in to consideration what will happen over the next 6+ years. Out of all of the consoles, it is the only one that has the potential to stand up to the test of changing times. The 360, which uses DVDs and can only output at 1080i (540p), has less power and over all quality of image. Even with the "HD-DVD player" add-on it still isn't capable of better than 1080i and has less than half the storage capability than Blu-Ray, and on top of that becomes the same price as our "too-expensive" Sony counterpart. The Wii is going to be amazingly fun, i'll give you that, but have any of you tried to watch television or 480p DVD movies on a true high defenition TV? They typically look like crap. And seeing how the Wii only outputs at 480p, in three or four years when everyone is buying a more affordable HDTV, it is not going to look all that great. and the storage space also limits the type of gaming we will be seeing in the end. I like the Wii better than the 360, even though it is less powerful, it will be fun to play games with my grandma. Finally, the PS3 has better quality picture, it's fully backwards compatable (without having to pay for anything), and it has WAY more storage capability with Blu-ray discs. The Blu-ray we see now holds something like 50gb dual layer right now, but there have been tests in order to push that limit, and on the exact same format disc, they have been able to store and use almost 200gb on ONE dual layer Blu-ray disc, imagine the potential. In 5 years, when i have a 1080p-capable TV, my PS3 will be running more slick than the day i bought it without any add-ons and upgrades. I promise you that neither Xbox or Nintendo will be able to say the same. $600 is a bargain.
