Seriously? Is that the best you have? I guess that's why I don't come here much anymore. My word, this place went downhill fast.

Why does anybody have to accept anything? Last time I checked, I didn't have to run my opinions by PC elitists to see if they're valid or not. Get a clue, would you?

[QUOTE="Arach666"] Funny or not it´s extremely accurate to the events in this forum.

clone01

sure

console gamers are all yelling, inconsiderate idots, while pc gamers are the calm reserved type.

...and nintendo fans just wanna have fun.

 but i'm sure that's the way you see it.

All fanboys are idiots, TC included.

Amen to that. Fanboys are annoying period. I have an issue with console fanboys of all colors splitting hairs over the minute differences in their respective systems. That being said, I don't mind when PC gamers tout the features they believe make their system superior. It's when they ignore their system's drawbacks while proclaiming console gamers are causal with lower IQs than PC gamers that I have a problem. And yes, I've been called both casual and unintelligent by PC gamers simply for not wanting the hassle.

Absolutely. There are new games coming out that I will buy, but my collection is very, very solid.

I'm aware of that, I saw that interview but the Cell was released later because developing took longer. The Cell was designed for high performance computing applications, the Xenon was just a gaming CPU so it makes sense the Cell needed a longer development process since the tech needed more refinement.

kuraimen

wrong, the Cell was ready to go in 2005, the ps3 was delayed becasue of a shortage of blu-ray drives, obvioulsy the Cell is more powerful than the Xenon, 6 harware threads vs 9 hardware threads for the Cell, but as far as which one is older it's niether, they where both ready to go in 2005.

Then why didn't they?

Lack of supply of diodes for the optical drives.

Yeah but the Cell was still being manufactured when the Xenon released. That's one of the reasons why the PS3 came out so late.

Can't link! GS really needs to get thier sh*t together. Anyway here ya go I did your work for you moron now educate yourself and remember, opinions mean sh*t!

Great article, BTW. I love the PS3. Heck, I buy my multiplats for the PS3 despite owning a 360, but the notion that the PS3 is more powerful than the 360 is flat out delusion, bred from the minds of insecure fanboys. It. Just. Isn't. Flaunt Uncharted 3 until the cows (get it) come home, but the quality of graphics in that game is nothing that can't be or already is done on the 360.

[QUOTE="razgriz_101"]

360 is ancient aswell its actually older tech than the PS3 which is hefty irony lol.

Also the internets not just for gaming and btw anyone thinking bethesda engines and PS3 never had a good relationship ever and strangely 4J that done the porting duties on oblivion did a better job porting than bethesda ever done which shows they clearly would be better off outsourcing their ps3 jobs.

kuraimen

The tech in the 360 is not older than whats in the PS3! Gawd how can someone possibly be so fuking ignorant? Google is your friend use it!!!

Actually, the PS3 was slated to release with the 360, but couldn't due to supply problems with the blu-ray drive. The tech in the system was solidified well over a year before launch. Well the Cell was released in 2006, the Xenon was released in 2005.

Yup. Never played the second, but the first was heralded as "Zelda on the Playstation." I enjoyed it, but I remember the dungeons getting a bit repetitive after awhile.

Okay, so let's move on. Who has gotten their pre-order invites, and what date did you pre-order? Me, like an idiot, waited until today to p/o. Is there any chance I will be playing this before next Tuesday?

I've played both, beaten both, and compared both side by side. The 360 version is ever so slightly sharper. It's obviously not a big deal to me, as I own it on the PS3 currently.
