If DLC had been done correctly - meaningful supplementary content sometime after game's release - then I don't think many gamers would have a problem. The problem with DLC today is that it's expensive, it's generally not very good, or it leaves the impression that developers cut out part of the game and sold it later. The PC has had expansions for years, but they have been generally worth the money as it provided meaningful stuff to play after the game had been completed. To be more on the point of the article, I don't think the problem is the location of the DLC. I think it's the fact that if it's on the disc, it was clearly ready for shipping, and thus, gives the impression that it was cut content not additional content.

The 3DS has not failed because of price. It has not failed for a lack of a second analog stick. It has not failed for lack of power or system capabilities. It has not failed because 3D gaming is annoying (which it isn't). It is failing because it launched without "must have" games. The system is great. The library is not. Why is the library the only issue isn't really being addressed?

I'm just glad that they explained that this was their artistic vision for the game and they were not pandering to the lowest common denominator, as a certain group of people thinks. I'm still not a huge fan of the game, but it may grow on me yet. Regardless, maybe this will get the "consolization" crowd to shut up (or maybe not!).

Honestly, the differences are so miniscule, it is not even worth comparing. It's not like last gen when the Xbox was clearly superior in the graphics department. What we end up doing is taking screenshots and picking up minor details which would not be noticible when the game is in motion. This debate is pointless. This gen is a dead heat, and I'm happy about it.
