I'm sure you guys a lot of posts like this, but I couldn't find (AKA I'm lazy, search function never works) any posts that fit my situation. I'm looking to build a comp, but I want to avoid buying crap parts, so thats where you come in. Assume kb/m and OS are taken care of. Need a monitor.
There are a LOT of free to play Korean MMOs. Coming from Korea the lag probably isn't as bad as one based in America or Europe. The only one I've played extensively is Knight Online. It's like the poor man's World Of Warcraft. It's downloadable client based (not browser based) so I imagine that could be a problem if you have bandwith restrictions in Vietnam.
Please do not try to run vista on 1gb of ram, especially since your integrated video card is sucking some of it away. I have a good idea for you. Get another stick of 1gb ram and buy a 8600gt for $50-$60. You will be able to get much smoother performance on everything.simardbrad

I've seen a lot of people here saying that Oblivion sucks and does not compare to Morrowind. After some wondering why this might be, I watched the ZP review. Yahtzee's problems with the game (fast travel ruining the point to a large game world, NPCs in the middle of the uncanny valley) are ones that were in Morrowind as well. He even mentions a problem he had with Morrowind (The difficulty between changing from physical attacks to magic). So I ask you Gamespot, what's wrong with Oblivion?
