It seems that all the Ninja Gaiden games have been pretty ridiculous in terms of difficulty. I admire their creator's stubborness at making their games more mass market friendly.

I recently played a SNES again for the first time in a decade or so. I realized the games (like Super Mario World) were SO FRACKING HARD! Didn't help I was drunk though but still! How the heck did I ever beat them?! Do you guys remember thumb blisters and white hot flashes of rage or was that just me?

I've been trying to beat Maximum Carnage for like half my life now... Anybody succeed? Hell for that matter has anybody here made it past lvl 3 of Battletoads??
Well, I think the reason why some people are bothered by in game advertising is they feel it's an intrusion into their hobby. Would you be bothered by advertisements if they started popping up inbetween chapters of a book you're reading? People have to sit through tons of advertisements when they watch television, and now even before trailers start showing in the theatres, and sometimes you can turn on the radio for a quick trip to the grocery store, and you won't hear a single song on the way there. As for in game advertising making games cheaper... it doesn't do that. It helps the developers with their budget, but the publishers still charge us the same price... :|JustPlainLucas
I supposed if they're intrusive like TV and radio ads, but if there is some advertising billboard in GTA that just sits there, its not like you can't play the game while leaving it there?
