If thats the case, then there will no how I could figure it out...

I have a PS2 in hands, and how do I know if the console is original, or if it was modified to run pirated games? There's a way to check this?

Also, i'd like to ask what is the highest resolution that I can record games from it? It's 480i (NTSC), 480p (NTSC Progressiove)?

Right, so I'll have to buy two systems, one PS3 Slim for PS3 and PS1 games, and one PS2 Slim to play PS2 games?

well, now I can say that I managed to get the thing working! WooHoo! Almost an year and a half on the shelves and now the fat is working! I don't know for how long but.. this is it.

Too bad I had already messed with the 500 GB HD I was using, and now the PS3 isn't recognizing the HD. So I had to install the original 60GB HD.

I'd like to ask for an advice from the community,
