The Fall Xbox 360 dashboard update has been revealed to our colleagues at OXM from Microsoft and it's looking very good indeed with gaming classics and films on demand.

December 4 is the date you'll need to watch out for; that's the day you'll be able to download and play Halo. Yes, Halo as in the Xbox game, through Marketplace, on your Xbox 360.

Microsoft is introducing games it has published for the original Xbox on XBL Marketplace, with the eventual plan to bring as much of the back catalogue across as possible.

Games cost about 1200 Microsoft points (about ten quid), which according to us puts them a little over what you'd pay for them second hand.

The initial list of downloads includes Halo, Fable, Fahrenheit, Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex and Burnout 3. All good then, apart from maybe Crash.

What do these new additions mean for the future of Xbox Live Arcade? Does the PS3's PSOne download service now look horribly dated? It's going to be an exciting 2008 in the download space, for sure.

All in all, Halo 3 is a great way to wrap up the series. It takes care of most of the outstanding plot points and leaves Bungie with an opening to "continue the fight" if they deem necessary. From the opening sequence of Master Chief firebombing to the surface of the earth to last sequence after the credits (yes watch the credits), you will be entertained and enthralled with the world of Halo 3. There are some minimal flaws, but they can be overlooked when presented with the splendor of Halo 3. And when you add in the endless replay in multiplayer, you have a game that is near excellent. The game gets 4.5 out of 5 Aeropausonauts.

Everything has come together in Halo 3 to form a comprehensive product that has been developed without fear of failure; a game which corrects the vast majority of the mistakes of the past; a game that combines user creativity and interaction across the campaign itself and Bungie's own website to an extent never seen before on a console release. It's not a Return of the Jedi, then, but a triumphant Return of the King.

Halo 3 is just a game, yes. But what a game. It's probably the easiest Gold Award we've ever given to a game, as well as being the first. Bungie will be sleeping in beds made of dollar bills after this, and their comfy currency duvet is well deserved.

Hail to the Chief. Believe."

As I said at the beginning of this review, Halo 3 is the best Xbox 360 game to date. The single-player campaign and storyline are both very strong, but it's Forge and the Saved Films features that will likely go down in history as Bungie's crowning achievements. They've basically taken everything great about the series and improved upon it in every way, then added some amazing new features that we'll be using for years to come. The fight may be finished, but this amazing experience is never going to end

If they want to sell the 360 in Japan, they shouldn't, Maybe they have new games they haven't shown before, like a Halo or Gears of War Datting sim?
