I'll echo what the others have said, at least ride this out until you finish the semester, then try to transfer to another school if you can. Dropping out now just means you've wasted a ton of money and time for no benefit, and it doesn't look good when applying to a new school. Also, are sure you can't ride this out till you graduate? The commute sucks, but its not the worst thing in the world. As for the awful people, do you mean the staff/professors, or the students? Because if it is the students, just ignore them, it's what I did all through university.

It doesn't really sound like you have thought this through. You want to move because you don't like Republicans, but you don't want to move because Europe has too many white people. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? First of all, what the general political attitude of your community is has very little effect on your every day life. Second, why would the racial density of a particular area be the defining factor in where you want to go? Again, little to no impact on your every day life. More important questions would be; Do you have a job lined up? Do you speak any other language than English? Because if not, you are basically relegated to the U.K. in terms of options. Does your girlfriend want to move? Would moving improve your life in any appreciable way? To be honest, you don't sound much different than those Weebo's who want to move to Japan because it is so much "better" than America.

PS. How do you define yourself as Polish American when you were born in the U.S. and your parents are from Russia? You are just a common white American, not some special snowflake.

I've never really understood the hate for university. What is the alternative? You can't get a job with a high school education, and only so many people can be carpenters and plumbers. People say university degrees don't offer real world applicable knowledge, and they are right to a certain degree. However, university isn't meant to train you for a specific job (that's what job training and experience are for). There is more to education than simply acquiring work skills, it's also about acquiring a good foundation to build upon. As for the article, I don't really see anything surprising about it. In comparison to other first world countries, the U.S. has always lagged behind in education standards. As for the generational comparison of work related skills, no shit older generations have better work skills, they have more experience in the work force.

Probably because this is the first time they have had the freedom to choose to not give a ****. Most likely these guys have moved away from home so parents have no direct oversight, and teachers don't give a crap if they go to class, so they have no motivation to go to class. Booze and partying seems much more appealing to a lot of young adults. It's only later they realize they wasted tens of thousands of dollars, several years of their lives, and potential job opportunities on partying. At Foxhound_Fox, not really a good example considering you choose to pursue a degree that had little real world applications and the opportunities it did afford, you had no interest in. College is still important for people who don't want to pursue trades and manual labour jobs.

Get the bum hole further away from the genitalia. To easy to get farted in the face when going down on someone.

"If I'm getting wrecked, it's not fun, so I usually rage and then quit". To be honest, that sounds kind of immature, especially for video games. I get that winning is more fun than losing, but why wouldn't you be able to still have a good time playing a game? Assuming you aren't going for an Olympic medal or whatever, the game's result is meaningless. It's got to be stressful being that competitive.

How so? Are you saying that people can't be equal if they are different?

I'm not, but the dictionary is.

To put it simply gender is just simply what you feel. Most of us don't really care about gender as our gender matches our sex.

You don't need to understand what it feels like to not have your gender match your sex as it's something impossible to feel if you don't also experience it. I don't understand it but I'm a decent enough person to respect it and not try to make life harder for them.

What you feel has nothing to do with your physical body though. I don't feel like a tall person, or someone with brown eyes, because that is something I'm not. There is nothing to "match" because the two have nothing to do with each other. Let's be honest here, if some white dude said "I feel like a black person" and got his skin colour changed and had plastic surgery, we would think it was weird and that the guy should see a therapist. But when it is a guy saying "I feel like a woman", suddenly it is politically incorrect to call bull on it. Again, I don't really care, it is his body and his right, but it just seems odd to me that we consider most forms of delusion as a form of metal illness, but this form of delusion (and make no mistake, it is a delusion) is accepted and empathized with.

Men and women have differences psychologically not just physically. To put it very simply and to be honest inaccurately a transwoman has the physical body of a man, but their brain is that of a woman. The same can't be said for thinking you're black as there is no such thing as a black brain, a black mans brain is no different to a white mans brain.

You're putting way to much emphasis on the physical side of this.

So men and women have different types of brains eh? That should have some interesting implications for equality and feminism :P

I don't really care, it's not a big deal either way. I just get tired of everyone acting like it is some human rights abuse to not use the pronoun of what someone feels like on the inside. Just because you think you are a woman doesn't change the fact that you have a dick and Y chromosome.

Very sensible!

No matter what this man wants nor how he feels, he will always be a man unless the day comes when science can alter chromosomes.

Like you, I too don't give a damn but I'd like to see people refrain from pushing their beliefs on others.

Chromosomes have very little to do with gender.

To play devils advocate, what exactly is gender? There are plenty of masculine women who consider themselves women, and lots of effeminate men who would be offended if you call them a woman. You can't really stereotype someones personality characteristics into "man" and "woman" gender categories. I've never really understood how someone can feel their body is "wrong" when it really has nothing to do with your inner self/gender.
