I have both games, but grid is a lot more fun... but then again, gran turismo isnt a finished game.. but even if gran turismo had damage, i still like grid better because of the lighting and the enviornments...

I couldn't agree more. FINALLY someone who knows what they are talking about. In the end, 360 costs the same or more. But not seeing that right in front of you when you stair at the 360 box price is what tricks the consumer. absolutely wrong statement.. 1080p is the only TV resolution referred to as "true HD".. The difference between 1080p HD and 720i HD is very noticeable.. Although I agree that the bigger the TV the more noticeable the difference will become. It is a fact that at least five years from now, there will be very fewer games on the market which are not available for 1080p..

One thing everyone must see is that technology is growing faster than it used to at the time of xbox and ps2, we will see a much bigger leap than PS2/xbox generation did throughout its life cycle.. therefore, with the blueray player and the not so good (but better than nothing) six axis, the PS3 is no doubt readier for this leap than the Xbox.. and that is why I am also arguing that the 360 will have a shorter life cycle than the PS3.. they will have to keep up with the graphical power of games soon.. And i must also admit.. microsoft must have seen this when they made 360.. but microsoft being so giant will not be harmed if it will have to create another system. however sony will have to get it right the first time.. which it did

wow.. i got so many posts here i cant read all of them sorry.. but from what I see overall.. I think I see now that this isnt a matter of which console is better than the other.. but rather a question of which one APPeals to whom.. In other words, The PS3 and the 360.. both would love to have a monopoly, but yet, they target their products toward different consumers with different life styles..

Yet again.. one more thing we can get out of this topic and the posts.. is that microsoft has managed to make people think that they are paying less for their console but in reality.. in oredr to get every feature that the pS3 has (excluding the bluray player) it will cost more... and therefore they have fooled a few people= with their marketing and different packages ..

Guys just so you know.. there is really no need to get frustrated over these forums.. no hard feelings.. we all have good games on both consoles and we are all happy with our consoles.. so go play and have fun everybody..

Yeap thats what I tell my customers at bestbuy.. dont look at the core system's price.. You will need all this tsuff and so you might as well get a ps3 which offers much more..

I think I got my answer.. u are right.. its definitely because microsoft is a giant and they had a bigger budget for their advertisements.. frankly most people really have no idea about these stuff when they buy a 360..

most people probably already know this.. but I also have to mention.. The 360 also has the red lights issue and the coolling system is just horrible..

Also, If you didnt notice.. almost all the "xbox exclusives" are available on pC sooner or later.. so really, if "jim" had a good computer, then all the more reason to get the pS3..

And yes.. i forgot to mention the 360 wireless adapter.. another 50-60 bucks for jim :P

Im not a "fan boy" I would like to have both consoles.. But I just gave some facts on why I believe that ppeople should buy PS3.. And No I dont make this arguments just for the heck of it.. Im just curious ... It is obvious that most poeople have 360s (as I am greatly out numbered on these forums) But Im just wondering why.. is it the marketing the 360 did that was better.. is the because of Halo.. or is it because people thing that 360 is cheaper?
