I think the answer you're looking for is go and buy the wii :P .. its only 89.99 at my local pawn shop (used, but w.e man). ITS GOOD
redboxa's forum posts
Idn man I played goldeneye yesterday it was a little frustrating getting used to the controls but overall I think it's a good game, Call of Duty: Black Ops actually looks sick on the wii though.. and I usually hate the games made by Treyarch but it looks like they've changed stuff this time around.
Sure, its praised now but back in the day it was underrated. We didn't know it potential to after so that doesn't reallly count. Sure we can praise it now but did we all really buy one then ? No, alot of people didnt, hence it being underatted.[QUOTE="redboxa"][QUOTE="ohthemanatee"]everyone on every internet forum and gaming website talks about the dreamcast as if it were god So no, I don't think it's underrated, in fact I think that over the years it has become overrated and yes I own oneohthemanatee
which is why I said that over the years it has become overrated
How can something over the years become overrated if not that many people bought it? It can't be overrated just because people talk about how underated it was? It's not overrated now its just known that it was an underated console.I don't know I think they're all good in their own ways, but overall I'd have to say the Playstation is the best because it has been pretty much the same controller since the ps1. It's pretty consistent and everything is where it should. I like the gamecube controller because of its quirkiness and the way it feels, and the dreamcast was a cool one for me just cause of the way it looked ( not so much felt lol ). The 360 controller is a solid controller but Sony's takes it.
This is the most confuzing thread ever. We don't even know what you're talking about. Why the hell would you quote things without telling us what it is :P
WELL, my first console was the ps1, I had crash bandicoot, I ended up getting another ps1 for my dads, aswell as the ps1slim or whatever it was called. I then got the ps2 for christmas which I loved, followed later by the ps2 slim. For the current generation for christmas my parents got me a 360, which I must say I liked up until the ps3 came out, I always wanted one. My 360s red ringed and what not until I bought a new arcade this month, I opened it up and played with it until I realized I just wanted the ps3, it was the best choice but I didn't want to wait to return it. I ended up resealing it after a night and returning the 360 for a ps3, which I love, won't go back to another problem-ridden 360. It's so boring ! I don't touch my wii anymore either.
I just got my ps3 so I've been home a bit. I like it, but it can be improved (definately). Faster load times, no lag, no load screens, there we go! The only way I can see this idea working with home being the main interface is if you could have the original psn menu everytime you hit the Menu button thing, so you can load whatever you wanted quickly without going through everything on home. I like how it is now though, its not advanced enough to replace the menu.
Damn, if they don't fix it I'll be upset. I didn't even know this was coming out, I used to play this all the time on PC. Pretty cool game, when you flip off the track its the best :P
You wouldn't think so now, but all these games that we are playing now are going to look retro to us in 15, 20 years.
