You can only blame Niantic for that. The 3 step system was an important asset of the game, without it there is no point. They closed all 3rd party tracking apps which also made the game fun. It's not how the company wants its users to play the game, its how the users want to play the game. They shot themselves in the foot, multiple times. Do not say that it was bound to happen, there was going to be a decline but not like this, they sped up their own demise.

@iandizion713: I live in Brooklyn and the nearest Walmart is about 45 minutes. I think things around Walmart are not considered civilized.

Remember back when it was released they did a mural back in Coney Island, right on the boardwalk, on the side of one the buildings. Played the game and it was way better than I thought it would be. Check out the move if you haven't, you'll be able to see old New York and shirtless guys with just a vest on, can you dig it? can you dig it? CAN YOU DIIIIIG IT?
