I think I got this during the winter sale. Two hours went into it before I completely lost interest. I just never found it very fun, though I guess for $1.50, why not?

I'm mostly looking for good games to put on my laptop.

Day 1: BIT.TRIP BEAT and BIT.TRIP RUNNER. Both of these games are great, but BEAT is especially addictive. I just wish it was longer.

Day 2:
- GTA ****cs. Again, just to put on the lappy.
- Braid. Loved it on the 360.
- SpaceChem. Holy shnikes, this game is crazy. The longest amount of time I think I've ever put into a demo. It's really challenging and really fun.

That's a great shame that you guys disliked Oblivion. Perhaps you expected too much from it, or expected it to be something it's not?chuck182

I guess you could say that. I expected it to be interesting and fun. Is that too much?

Either way, I only paid $5 for GotY, so it wasn't a bad deal at all. And there's still some great mods. I just didn't get as much out of the vanilla game as I'd hoped.

I'm still on the fence about Skyrim regardless. I've liked what I've seen so far, and I'm sure that the modding community will work wonders with it over time. As far as a day-one purchase, we'll see.

I've been using the DeathAdder Black for several months and it's just fine for me.

Most of the games I buy from the Steam sales because I end up not playing them at all. I bought about 40 of them and the only ones I played for any appreciable amount of time were Just Cause 2 (love this game), Batman AA, M&B Warband, Trine, and the Tropico 3 expansion.

These days I struggle to find time or interestfor most games. Even with games that I really enjoy like Dirt 3, I only play them a couple of hours a week. Maybe I'm just hitting a slump and I'll bounce back at some point.

Let him. It's his choice. Besides, something like this belongs in System Wars anyway.

NFS:HP had 360 icons so i thought this one should have it too, but its not the same dev, and i found a patch that converted it :)yemen_headshot

The original Shift didn't have 360 legends, either, which kinda bugged me. There was a mod for that game as well.

The funny thing is, I'm using a keyboard targeted at Mac users on my desktop right now...

...but it sure as hell isn't any Apple-made one right now. It's a DSI Modular Mac with Cherry MX Blue switches. Pretty spiffy USB tenkeyless board, though the layout will throw some people off (it's not like a typical Filco/Leopold/Realforce tenkeyless or Model M Space Saver at all). I'd take one of these ten times out of ten over Apple's current keyboards.NamelessPlayer

The layout doesn't look too bad, kinda similar to the Siig Minitouch (white ALPS), which I'm using at the moment.

I've used the Apple keyboards before, and honestly, I like them all right. The chiclet keys feel all right, similar to the ones on my Thinkpad, and I certainly like the slim look of it. That said, I still think it's overpriced for what it is.

My G500 just crapped out on me after 2 years. Great mouse, but I decided to go with the DeathAdder Black as my replacement. I miss the extra buttons, but I'm really coming around to the DeathAdder. It's a good mouse all around.
