The problem is that Ubisoft's heart isn't in it anymore, they just want the money that it brings. Why do you think studios like Naughty Dog, Bungie, Valve, and, yes, Nintendo, do so well? Their hearts are in it. They care about their creations. They want to make the games, they find making them fun. That's why I honestly believe Watch_Dogs will do well, but the sequels will fall apart. They don't care if they want to do it, they care if it makes money. That and a lack of time due to deadlines are what is killing the franchise. I honestly hope they're making ACIV because they want to, and in interviews they sound like it, but it sounds to me like they're just looking at focus groups and saying, "They like it, put it in the game."
I'd consider Gates to be one of the nicest people in the 1%. I mean, DEMANDING your taxes be raised because the lower classes are being shafted and he can afford the raise? That takes some brass. As much as I think he shouldn't retire, he deserves the rest. He's done a lot.
A CEO is a CEO. If you're good at running a company, you're good at it. Anyone saying he won't do well because he has no experience with this industry is just stupid. And saying that about Mulally is doubly stupid, considering he's not actually from the car industry, he came from Boeing, but did that stop him from making Ford a fairly successful company? In fact, he survived just fine without money from the bailout, while GM was struggling with it. He knows what he's doing.
@hardeddie It sucks that Sony said Japan would get it in 2014. Now that mainland Asia gets the PS4 before Japan, I feel really sorry for them. I get it's strategic, but that's still shafting them big time.
I got MoH:WF on 360 and recently sold it, does that mean I can't get the PS3 version? More importantly, my code never actually worked when I used it. Like, brand new, and it told me the code was already used.
