Now that i have sorted out my new gaming rig, i move onto the issue about which monitor to choose. I have narrowed down my search to the following two. Any suggestions which one is better, not just for gaming but for every day use too. The display needs to have a headphone socket a I want to set it up with Bose Companion 2 series III multimedia system. I will also be sitting at arms length from the screen.

The monitors are Iiyama Prolite GB2773HS (27" display)

or

Asus VG248QE (24"inch display)

Any suggestions would be great or is there a better display out there.

Many thanks in advance

@EducatingU_PCMR:

It is a 2 TB hard drive.

Hae just upgraded memory so that i will have 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400MHz DDR3 Memory (2 x 8GB sticks) and changed to 250GB Samsung 840 EVO Solid State Drive.
