so my ps3 has recently had a problem. every thing it displays has little lines out of it.

its most notable on black and white things.

id post pics but sadly mine anus doesnt have a camera.

but ive deduced its not my projector.

its not the cable.

im pretty sure its not the port itself as it feels like its still solid and my ps3's got its own shelf upon which it doesnt move so i dont know how anything bad could have happened to it.

ive tried alot of things to remedy the problem but nothing seems to work.

im to the point of formating the sun weotch.

buuuuuuut ive purchased pain and echochrome and done want to loose it.

along with my game saves and music.

so whats a guy to to do?

Well you are talking BS here. 360 does upscale but with VGA or HDMI. There is no device in the world that allows upscaling of DVD through component. It is not allowed.

The 360 does NOT Up-Scale through any cable.

It's just a progressive scan DVD-ROM drive.

I've seen this discussion over a thousand times. I know what I'm talking about, because I know technology and what its capable off.

Find one Official link or whatever on a Official Microsoft site showing Up-Scaling possible through the Xbox 360 and I will send you a 12-Month Subscription to Xbox Live or a game of your choice. That's how confident I am. :)

that there made me nearly poo my self as im looking into this i find it on their site just after reading the frist post then i read the second one...and i just thought it was very funny.

im new to hd but i watched spiderman 3 on my 100'' 1080p screen thanks to my optoma hd80 projector with xbox 360 over hdmi and it looked good enough for me to be fairly impressed with it. overall there a few minor things i noticed but still alot better then standard def. but im buying a bluray playing device next week.

does anyone know what deffinition the 360 upscales to?
