[QUOTE="lundy86_4"][QUOTE="CuRle_"] But, console doesn't have hardcore gamers. Why would a hardcore gamer chose console as their primary system, over PC? Lolz.CuRle_
According to whom, you? I'd say that it does.
I never said they would choose it over PC, nor did I insinuate such, so your last question isn't relevant to the discussion. Regardless, I will humour you, maybe because they enjoy the games more? Done and done.
Why would someone chose console foe the games? The computer has Call of Duties and Angry Birds.Well isn't this a little ironic. While you try to justify your position, you name one of the most Casual series on the market to date.
I liked MGS the most out of all of them. MGS3 is a close second though.
Yes, pulling a completely random plot-twist out at the end is extremely good writing and stuff.

What completely random plot twist are you refering too?
I can imagine it being very hard to feel fully engaged into the story without playing the first 3. For most fans of the series, MGS4 was amazing. While I do love the game, I personally find that MGS and MGS3 did a better job in the story and atmosphere department. Paticularly MGS. I thought that the gameplay, Codec calls, cutscenes were all done spectacularly. I remember sitting down just listening to codec calls for large sums of time. I don't think I've ever felt so immersed into a game since then.
The major MGO2 fan base resides on this website: http://www.mgo2.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=24566
To be honest with you though, most high leveled players are full of themselves. If you're new to the game, it will be very difficult to do well against anyone whos been playing for awhile. There are also major lag issues where the game is concerned. Not every high leveled player is good. MGO is VERY connection dependent.
Also, be aware that if you play competetively, you will run into glitchers. The most recent way of cheating is using DDOS,which is illegal, to win survival matches and tournaments by disconnecting their opponents. I can honestly say being a player that played often in the first two years of its release, to seldomly playing now that it really isn't that enjoyable from a competetive standpoint any longer. Most good players stopped playing a really long time ago.
Vanquish is a title that I need to play. It has been recieving solid scores everywhere, but I hear it didn't sell well. It was definitely overshadowed by fallout new vegas, which is a shame.
The call of duty series has become another tonyhawk/guitar hero series. Activision ships out one EVERY year with little to no improvement. As of right now, Blackops is riddled with glitches. As said by another poster, COD4 was the peak of the series.
I won't be buying another Call of duty game. They're starting to leave a stale taste in my mouth.
Poor programming practices lead to memory leaks. And now that you mention it, it would explain why people are having such a wide array of issues.
