PS+ still gives free games to its users on a monthly basis. I have received literally hundreds of dollars of free content in a single year. I was going to keep my PS+ membership anyway. And now, it's good for PSVita, PS3, AND PS4. I am let down by Sony going away from free multiplayer, but as I was going to keep my membership for the myriad bonuses and goodies it gave me anyway, I suppose it doesn't matter.

PS+ is still a significantly better service than XB Live Gold in measurable quantities of what gamers get back from their investment AS WELL AS online gaming.

I'm surprised that Sega CD's Earthworm Jim's Easy ending wasn't on here. I loved that ending and it was hilarious (to my 13-year-old brain, mind you). So, honorable mention then. Also, Portal's ending was EPIC! I beat the game just to get the end credits and enjoy the song.

I would love to see the Demon Hunter in action (no gender preference).

I agree so very strongly with richsst. The reasons he gave are the exact reasons I HATE when I hear that devs are working on a new project for BOTH consoles.... by developing for 360 and then porting to PS3. This almost always leads to a stunning 720p experience (sarcasm and sardonicism on that one), which by HD standards today translates into subpar. The one thing that these slides confirmed for me is that devs are getting lazy. Look at the Need For Speed slides. As the article points out, there are missing environmental elements in the PS3 version. You can't tell me that the PS3, which exclusively runs Gran Turismo 5 (in 1080p, no less) couldn't handle sideline shrubbery. LAZY DEVELOPMENT. Too many devs are porting to the PS3 as an afterthought and not putting in the work (or the money) to develop properly on the PS3. I'm glad that Gamespot pointed out that the gap in port quality is closing. That proves that history is well on its way to repeating itself (remember how much devs complained about programming for the PS2 initially? Remember how far PS2 came compared to where it began?). I'm sticking fast to my prediction that, in the end, the PS3 will be declared the next-gen war winner and you'll see a greater, more pleasing evolution of the system by the end of its life cycle than you will the 360 which is so close to already reaching its peak (imo).

I have to say that the video-out is my FAVORITE upgrade on this. I've been wanting that for Monster Hunter Freedom (and now MHF2 as of yesterday!) for SOOOOO long. My second fav upgrade is the system cache memory DOUBLING in size. I can't wait to grab one of these. My current peezpuh is on the way out (I bought it used and I've put 700 hours into Monster Hunter Freedom alone!!), so Sony putting the new one out now is SUPREMELY well timed. Kudos Sony. Keep making improvements, Sony. We appreciate it!!

I'm totally stoked about this. I've been wanting to play Monster Hunter Freedom on my big screen for a LONG time (and the sequel will come out just before the new system launch!!). Also, this will make exporting PSP videos to Youtube and the like SOOO much easier and MUCH better quality. If ONLY for the video-out port, I'm in.

Deadly, that makes total sense. I'm beginning to understand how this works now. However, the ISO is only 184 megs. That can't be right. Have you burned the Sony conference yet?

I'm having trouble with the burning part. I downloaded the Sony ISO, the 3 parts, and I extracted the files into a single folder (so they're unzipped). I downloaded Burn4free and I followed the step to burn the ISO first. After it burned, I added the three video files, but the content with the ISO was too large by about half a gig. I tried burning it with the ISO and the first 2 segments, but the DVD wouldn't even play in my PC that I burned it on. Any suggestions or tips out there? I love the Sony conference and I hecka want to see it on my HD TV. Help, someone, please!! I also noticed that the image file is only 184Mb. Does this file need reworking? I just checked the Nintendo and Microsoft ISO files and they're in the gigs. Any help would be appreciated.
