It looks unique, yet really awkward to hold. Probably not the real 3DS.

I've pretty much phased out my old MP3 player in favor of the DSi. Sure it's a pain to convert everything, but the quality is good, and there are plenty of options. You can set it to play through all songs in order, loop the song, loop a particular section of a song, apply filters, and even change the pitch and speed of the song.

Don't use the 8-bit filter. It's basically the song in 8-bit plus random tuneless beeping and booping. You can barely discern the actual song. On another note, the vocal-removal filter usually works, but it doesn't work for some songs (i.e. blocks all sound).

A thing with the tempo/pitch adjuster is that it lets you change the gender of the singer in the song. Raising the pitch makes it sound like there is a female singer, and vice versa. It's really funny.

i want a ds... but dont care for the camera...

What about the app store, music playback, improved menu, SD card support, larger screens, improved quality speakers, and buttons that aren't rubbish? You need to consider those if you're picking a DS Lite up over a DSi.

As for your actual question, I highly doubt it. Regular DSi systems are selling like hotcakes and Nintendo still hasn't dropped the price.

The only exclusive **** the dsi getting is dsware games. The dsi is not a new system.

I think it's probably going to be released later this year or in 2011. I would prefer that it keep the flip design, that way it protects the screen. It should have a better camera, motion sensor, High-Res graphics, Dual Touchscreens, and force feedback. I'm also hoping that they will include dual PSP-style analog nubs, but make it so that it's harder for your thumbs to slip off.

I would probably trade in my DSi for one, but ONLY if it had full backwards compatibility with the DS and DSiWare.

Cyndaquil, because Quilava is my favorite Pokemon. Though I'm debating whether I should evolve it into Typhlosion so it can learn Blast Burn. I don't like Totodile because Feraligatr and Croconaw are freaking ugly, and I didn't pick Chikorita because Grass is boring.

Yeah, the blow into the button thing does actually work. I've done it a few times on my DSi, it always fixed it.

I used to spread out the useless HMs over my primary pokemon. But, as of now I just use the pokemon that I caught only for the Pokedex and give them the HMs. It's your choice, spread out the crappy HMs over your normal pokemon, or use worthless Pokemon as HM Mules.

I own a Matte Black DSi. Last handheld I had was a Game Boy Color. I definitely do not miss the Game Boy Color.

I guess I sort of understand that attachment you get to objects. I never recall experiencing it however, I only upgrade the consoles I have to newer ones that are far superior.
