Very disappointing that Samus Aran wasn't on the list. She came into the video game world almost decade before Lara Croft. And she shoots rockets out of her arm cannon.
I would say a Fall 2013 release date is more realistic - with the possibility of a Winter 2013 release being the latest I would predict. Rockstar has normally dished out more information in regards to their GTA games in the past and the fact that they have kept this one under tight wraps seems to suggest that it is still deep in its development stages. As a GTA fan, I don't mind waiting for a great game to come out. Let the game work itself out on a steady pace - it'll be worth the wait.
not sure what to take from it. i wouldn't get my hopes up for a 2012 release, but then again i like surprises. The only thing is that regardless of the release date - the game needs to be good. Rockstar is one of the few developers that makes sure they have a good product before releasing. if they delay for 2013, then so be it. i can trust their judgment.
I think the emphasis on the 'V' probably refers to Vice City or Vinewood (a district in Los Santos). It's difficult to say. Either way, I'm more than certain it'll be awesome. I personally hope its Vice City. Rockstar's made several recent games in the American West (Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire) and all are great, but Miami (or Vice City) needs to be revisited.
