Soldier class is one of the best for doing the game on INSANITY, but it really is the most boring generic of all the classes. I prefer either Adept or Infiltrator.
I think the best example of fantastic use of AI has to be the citizens of GTAIV's Liberty City. Everytime I step into this world, I see or experience something new or amazing with the people on the streets. Most of this happens without any interaction from myself. Just standing on the corner of a busy intersection, I'm blown away by the actions of NPCs and how they interact with each other. I've seen people get into accidents because they are distracted by a pretty scantily-clad NPC walking on the side walk. I've seen NPCs stealing other peoples rides, one was being chased on-foot by a cop and jacked a car to get away. I then saw the cop, commandeer a civilians vehicle to continue the chase.
More important than graphics is getting the game to work. I could not get the PC version to install at all and it was no fault of my hardware but the blame is clearly on their crappy installer. EA Tech Support is just as effective as getting world peace. I was forced to take the game back and thankfully I was allowed to exchange it for the X360 version over the PS3 version. Sure it's the inferior version visually but there are lot more things important than looks, like gameplay, great story and characters which this game has in abundance.
I'm a PC gamer and a console gamer. It's so nice to pop in my copy of RE5 in my 360 and not have to enter a serial code. With the new XboxLIVE I can even choose to install the game on my hard drive and the game loads in levels quicker and plays much cooler and quieter. Again no CD code to enter all I need is the disk in the drive and I can play. When I go into stores I swear the PC game section gets smaller each time - is this because DRM I'm not sure but it's definitely not helping.
