Maybe it's your own odor your smelling because that guy is telling the truth. PS3 costs too much. Not enough games to justify the price. And gamespot did cover this in one of their sections. So that guy was being 100% truthfull and you have no valid response so you resort to name calling. Maybe try refuting him with a logical argument, instead of losing your credibility by calling him a troll.

Go look at the oblivion review. Gs gave it a very generous review, especially since it's over a year old.

Gears was the biggest letdown

No the news is that it was originally planned for a ps3 exclusive. Now it is not going to be from the looks of it because of the high development costs.

Capcom did it with dmc4 and konami and square will do it with mgs4 and ffxii

I own a 360 and have live.

Perfect dark zero is AMAZING ONLINE. It crushes gears for replay value.

Gears is overrated trust me once you get over the graphics its boring, even online.

Yes they have. Isn't it painfully obvious by now. I bought a 360, but still wanted the ps3 to succeed, it however is not meeting my expectations. And sony fans keep saying the real battle hasn't begun yet, that it won't begin until this holiday season. Oh you mean when halo 3, mass effect, the new forza, huxley, unreal tournament and shadowrun are out?

I am sorry but metal gear solid alone won't cut it against that kind of line up and that game will most likely lose it's exclusivity and head to 360 also (not to mention be delayed if they want it to be any good for ps3 because of the difficulty in making games for ps3). Don't forget the new final fantasy, gta (even tho gta sucks imo) and virtua fighter 5.

I would be very surprised it mgs4 wasn't multiplat. It would show that konami lacks intelligence and business smarts because no one in there right mind would give up making more than twice as much money.

And from what I have read konami is heavily pressuring mgs creator to take the game multiplat.

I personally wouldn't buy it or even rent it if it did come to 360 because I will be so busy with online games like huxley, halo 3, mass effect, two worlds, forza, shadowrun, and unreal tournament  to care about repetetive 1 player games with no action like mgs4.

And it also made me smile when dmc4 was announced yesterday for 360, however I won't buy that game either because I don't like repetetive hack n slash titles. But it is still nice to know it will be on 360 anyway in case I do decide to pick it up.

I am very happy to see ff13 going multiplatform though.
